A crown is a custom cap that covers a damaged or weakened tooth, restoring its strength and shape. ReDefine Dentistry mills crowns in-office using CEREC technology, so most patients leave with a finished crown the same day — no temporary, no second appointment.

What it is
A crown fits over an existing tooth like a cap, covering it completely above the gumline. It's used when a tooth is too damaged, worn, or weakened for a filling to hold up, but the tooth itself doesn't need to be removed. With CEREC same-day technology, the tooth is digitally scanned, the crown is designed on a computer, and it's milled from a solid ceramic block right in the office — all in one visit.
What to expect
