Emergency Care
Emergency Dental Care
Dental pain doesn't wait for an appointment slot. ReDefine Dentistry accommodates same-day emergency visits and walk-ins whenever possible, so a cracked tooth or sudden pain doesn't have to mean days of waiting.
Open Mon–Fri · 9AM–1PM & 2–6PM
What it is
An emergency dental visit is for anything that can't reasonably wait for a routine appointment — sudden pain, a broken or knocked-out tooth, swelling, or an injury to the mouth. The goal of an emergency visit is to get you out of pain and stabilize the situation quickly, then figure out the right longer-term treatment plan if one is needed.
What to expect
- 1Call or walk in
Call ahead if you can so the team can prepare, but walk-ins are welcome for urgent situations. - 2Quick evaluation
Dr. Kim examines the issue, often with a digital X-ray, to understand what's going on and how urgent it is. - 3Immediate relief
The priority is getting you out of pain — whether that means treating an infection, stabilizing a broken tooth, or another immediate step. - 4Next steps
If further treatment is needed (a crown, root canal, extraction, etc.), you'll leave with a clear plan instead of just a temporary fix.
If you're experiencing a medical emergency — severe swelling affecting your breathing or swallowing, uncontrolled bleeding, or a serious facial injury — go to the nearest emergency room or call 911 instead of the dental office.
