Teeth Whitening
Professional whitening lightens years of staining from coffee, tea, and everyday life more evenly and predictably than store-bought strips or kits, using a stronger whitening agent under Dr. Kim's supervision.
Open Mon–Fri · 9AM–1PM & 2–6PM
What it is
Teeth naturally pick up stains over time from food, drinks, and age. Professional whitening uses a peroxide-based gel, stronger than what's available over the counter, to break down that staining. Because it's done in-office (or with a custom take-home kit provided by the office), the process is more controlled than drugstore products — more even results, and less guessing about strength or fit.
What to expect
- 1Evaluation
Dr. Kim checks that your teeth and gums are healthy enough for whitening — existing dental work like crowns won't whiten the same way as natural teeth, which is good to know upfront. - 2Whitening treatment
Depending on the option chosen, whitening gel is applied in-office or through a custom-fitted take-home tray. - 3Results
Most people see a noticeably brighter, more even shade after treatment, though the exact result depends on your starting shade and the cause of staining.
